Graffiti- fied!

Hello!

Just came back from a trip to Sydney (for my sem break). I visited my relatives and friends who study there. For a couple days, we took a trip down to Melbourne. There were so many lanes which had cute little cafes and funky boutiques left and right.

Down some alleys were graffiti and me-- being the art lover that I am--- rushed down past the trash bins to take pictures. There is that misconception that graffiti is bad and is always associated with gangs. But I dont believe this. I think graffiti is just another form of art. Look at the pictures I took and let me know what you think.

UP Campus Tour

Last Tuesday I finally saw some of the other members of Club Pen. Its been a while! Seeing Dawn and catching up with everyone is always enjoyable. I ask about what they’re all up to and vice- versa. It makes me so proud of them because they’re always doing something new. In UP, Dawn, Einar, and I gave a small talk about the modelling industry, working the camera, and taking care of yourself (beauty regimens etc.)

Afterwards we moved to the Chocolate Kiss cafe, (Im lovin the name), where I really got to talk to Dawn while waiting for the concert to start. While waiting I ended up passing out on the table! Am i that exhausted??? How embarassing...... When I woke up both Dawn and Matteo were gone and I had to roam around the House of the Alumni to find them. I left early to go home while the concert was just starting. Hmm, maybe next time I can catch Bamboo perform…

Recent Developments

Work has been hectic, but luckily I didn’t lose too much sight of my ideals and who I am.  I almost did though, but I got a much needed reality check from a good friend of mine.

It can’t just be all work, you have to love what you do.  Be hungry for it, or else it eats you up and spits you out leaving you with a lot less than what you started off with.

That being said, I’ve been catching sunrises recently, spending time with friends, dressing up, and playing music again.  Self-expression is a sure way to end any feelings of stagnation.

Time is precious, we only have eighty five thousand minutes a day, if you don’t use them to their fullest extent, they’re gone.  It’s just like sleep deprivation or sleep debt, you can never regain what you’ve lost.

So live, we’re not getting any younger, but we sure as hell ain’t old.
